- The hire charges are based on ONE DAYS HIRE. However, clients may collect & return hire items the day before & after the wedding, subject to the equipment not being required for another wedding on these days. In the unlikely event that it should be required, Wedding Wonders reserve the right to enforce this one days hire policy if necessary.
- Terms of settlement - Sale Items: Payment in Full in advance by cheque / Hire Items: 50% deposit on booking & Balance either BY CHEQUE (payable at least 28 days in advance) or CASH ON COLLECTION.
- Refund Policy - Sale Items: No refund on any made to order items if work has commenced / Hire Items: See 'Cancellation Policy' below.
- A "SECURITY DEPOSIT" is required to cover any shortages, breakages or damage to the Hire Equipment. After the Equipment is checked on its return, this security deposit will be returned or cancelled, less any of these costs incurred, unless this balance has been settled by cheque.
- Equipment not returned will be charged at a continuous rate and subject to a penalty fee of £100 in the event a subsequent Hirer is inconvenienced.
- All hire prices are subject to delivery and collection charges or to postal charges, unless Equipment is collected and returned by the Hirer.
- The hire charges do not include for the planning, setting up and laying out of the Equipment, unless otherwise stated.
- All Hire Equipment remains the property of Wedding Wonders Limited at all times.
- Wedding Wonders Limited reserves the right to substitute the equipment for a similar or superior quality in events beyond the control of the Company.
- The Hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the Equipment from the time of collection until the time of return by the Hirer or from the time of delivery until the time of collection by Wedding Wonders.
- Wedding Wonders and its employees and associates accept no liability for injury, loss or damage howsoever caused to the Hirer or any third party.
- Insurance against theft, loss, vandalism and similar perils is not included and is the responsibility of the Hirer.
- Substitution of alternative Equipment by the Hirer to replace shortages, breakage's or damage will not be accepted.
- All cartons/boxes and any other packaging material are to be returned in good condition. Lost or damaged cartons/boxes and packaging materials will be charged for.
- Equipment is hired for indoor use and indoor storage only. Damaged caused through wet or damp will be charged for.
- Once all Postal Purchase or Postal Hire Orders have left the control of Wedding Wonders Ltd., it is the transporters' responsibility to ensure delivery in time and in a satisfactory condition. All Missing Parcels, Disputes or Necessary Claims are the responsibility of the Client/Hirer.
a) DEFINITIONS
The Company:
means Wedding Wonders Limited of Tyrrells, Dunmow Road, Hatfield Heath, Hertfordshire CM22 7ED.
The Hirer or Client :
means the person or persons hiring or purchasing Equipment from the Company.
The Equipment:
means the products and ancillary items hired or sold by the Company to the Hirer or Client and in accordance with these conditions.
Conditions:
means the standard Terms and Conditions of hire set out in this document and any special Terms and Conditions agreed in writing between the Company and the Hirer.
Contract:
means the Contract for the use and hire of the Equipment on the Conditions and which is made the acceptance in writing by the Company of the Hirers' order.
The price list constitutes an offer of Equipment; receipt by the Company of a verbal or written order will be an acceptance by the Hirer of the Company's full
Terms and Conditions of Hire. These Terms & Conditions are also shown on the Hirers' or Clients' invoice.
b) GENERAL LIABILITY
The Hirer shall be solely responsible for and hold the Company employees and associates fully indemnified against all claims demands liabilities losses damages proceedings and expenses which may be brought against or incurred by the Company as a result of any accident involving the Equipment and any claims demands liabilities losses damages proceedings and expenses brought against or incurred by the Company as a result of the Hirer breaching the Terms of the Contract.
c) CANCELLATION
The Hirer may cancel the Contract prior to the commencement of the Hire Period by notifying the Company in writing and paying by way of liquidated damages:
- the full rental if notice is received less than 28 days prior to the commencement of the hire period; or
- 50% of the rental if notice is received more than 28 days prior to the commencement of the hire period; or
When hiring Equipment or purchasing Products, the customer agrees by the Company's Terms and Conditions of Hire and/or Purchase. | |
